GLZD ARTISTRY began with a simple idea: forgotten glass still has something beautiful to become.
I cut, shape, foil, and solder every piece by hand. No two turn out exactly alike—and that is the whole point.
I love finding possibilities in colors, textures, and pieces others might pass by. The process is slow, a little messy, and always worth it.

The hands behind GLZD
I’m Erica—maker, glass lover, and the woman adding a little sass to every piece that leaves my workbench.
My husband has been creating stained glass since high school. After meeting him, I watched him work and found myself wanting to know more: how the pieces fit, how the light changed them, and how a sheet of glass could become something with a life of its own.
That curiosity grew into a passion—and nearly 20 years working in glass manufacturing. Glass became more than a material around me. It became something I understood, respected, and genuinely loved.

Working with glass has taught me patience—and plenty of respect for the material. I’ve always loved creating with my hands, whether I’m building stained-glass art, turning colorful scraps into jewelry, or bringing a design to life through mirror etching.
I’m creative, determined, caring, adventurous, funny, and—as anyone close to me will confirm—a little sassy. That personality finds its way into every one-of-a-kind piece I make. Because forgotten glass deserves another chance to be unforgettable.
